7. How much deposit do you require to reserve space on a tour or to charter a bus?

Charter:
One Day - $100 per coach

Overnight - $100 for the first day + $50 for each additional day.

All Final Balances are due 4 weeks prior to trip departure.

8. What forms of payment do you accept?

Starr accepts Cash, Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks, Personal Checks (30 days or more prior to departure), Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

9. Do you offer Gift Cards?

    Yes, Starr offers Gift Cards in any denomination which can be used toward the purchase of any Tour. Gift Cards have no expiration date.

10. What if I have to cancel my trip?

Charter:
If trip is canceled more than 4 weeks prior, you will receive a full refund.

If trip is canceled 8 days to 4 weeks prior, you will forfeit deposit.

If trip is canceled within 7 days or less, you will forfeit one-half of the charter price.

Tour:

If trip is canceled more than 30 days prior, you will receive a full refund for the cost of your tour.

If you have not purchased Starr's Tour Protection Plan, and you must cancel within 30 days:

11. What is the Starr Tour Protection Plan?
  Tour Protection is available on most Motorcoach Tours. If you must cancel your trip for any reason, right up to the time of departure, all of your tour payment will be refunded to you. There are absolutely no penalties or cancellation charges! Coverage for the Tour Protection Plan, which is nonrefundable, becomes effective the date your payment and completed enrollment form are received. Tour Protection covers cancellation only. You must call to cancel. Tour Protection does not protect room rates should your travel companion cancel.

12. What is customary gratuity for the Driver and/or Tour Director?

Your tour includes all gratuities for bellman, doormen, and dining room meals included in the tour and all related taxes unless otherwise specified. Gratuities for guides, tour director, and drivers are not included in the tour. If you wish, such appreciation may be extended on an individual basis and not as a group. Guidelines are Driver-$3.00 per person per day, Tour Director-$3.00 per person per day.

13. How many bags can I bring on my trip?

    Each passenger is permitted to bring one piece of luggage for storage in the luggage bay of the coach. Because we care about our drivers, we request that each piece of luggage not exceed 50 lbs. A small bag, if carried by the passenger and stored in the overhead compartment on the coach , is permissible. VALUABLES AND MEDICATIONS SHOULD BE CARRIED ON BOARD THE COACH

15. What do I need to bring if I am traveling outside of the US?

All US Citizens should have proof of citizenship when leaving the country, such as a valid passport, birth certificate or naturalization papers. Ask your Travel Advisor about the specific regulations for the country(s) you plan to visit.

16. Will I be able to choose my seat on the bus?

On all Tours, seat assignments are chosen at the time of the booking. Seat assignments are not guaranteed and are subject to change.

17. What type of vehicles does Starr have?

Starr has deluxe motorcoaches equipped for your comfort. Each vehicle is equipped with a video monitor and VCR, lavatory, reclining seats and much more.
