In addition to directing tours for Starr, Alice is an artist. She is a freelance
illustrator and painter and has designed several book jackets. She served as director of the Art Institute of Philadelphia for 5 years and also taught painting and drawing in the Trenton public school system. Alice loves to travel and has been all over the world, from Russia to China and beyond. |

Alan loves his work as a music instructor at Penn State/Brandywine. He teaches classical music and jazz history. He also works as a freelance musician and has performed at 4 Presidential inaugurations! Alan enjoys traveling to destinations off-the-beaten-path and loves trivia. |

Jane works as a guide at the Hagley Museum and Library in Delaware. Jane has a passion for history and in her free time belongs to a History Club that re-enacts the Civil War – she dresses as a lady of the 1860’s, right down to bloomers and corset! Jane also enjoys spending time with her husband Gary and their two cats. |

Before joining Starr, Lucille worked for 30 years as a Violations Court Administrator in Burlington County. Today she divides her time working in Starr’s Trenton office and leading tours. She has been married for 49 years and loves spending time with her 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Lucille also enjoys cooking and traveling.

Penny enjoys biking, walking in Valley Forge National Park and playing golf. Penny holds a degree in education from Penn State University and continues to teach both Science and English.
