Day 1:
A Starr Tours motorcoach will take you from our convenient departure point to board your transatlantic overnight flight.
Day 2:
The day is free to rest or to enjoy the relaxed and graceful atmosphere of Geneva
Burt will supply his personal guidebook to the city which includes his recommendations for the best places for a light lunch
At 6pm, depart with your fellow traveling companions for a welcome dinner at Fondue Aux Armures, one of Geneva's favorite restaurants
Enjoy the Swiss specialty of fondue, as your Tour Director prepares you for your upcoming adventure
Day 3:
This morning depart for an orientation tour of Geneva, including the United Nations Headquarters, Red Cross Headquarters and a stop at the Reformation Monument
Explore the origins of Christianity at archaeological site of St. Peter's Cathedral, followed by a tour of this church where John Calvin gave his inspiring sermons during the mid-16th century
Burt Wolf, the host of the public television series Travels & Traditions, joins us this afternoon for lunch at Cafe Papon in Old Town followed by a tour of Lake Geneva on an antique steamboat
Enjoy this unique opportunity to travel with Burt, see the sights, and experience the places where the "What's Cooking Switzerland" television show was filmed
Tonight is at leisure to try one of Burt Wolf's recommended restaurants
Day 4:
Travel to the 2,000-year-old town of Sion to hear the world's oldest functioning organ at the Notre Dame De Valere
A delicious wine tasting and Raclette lunch awaits you at the Chateau De Villa in Sierre
Arrive in the ski town of Crans-Montana this afternoon with time to relax and enjoy the amenities of your hotel
Day 5:
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Swiss countryside to Breiten
Travel by aerial cable car to Bettmeralp in just seven minutes
After a short walk through the village, continue by cable car to Bettmerhorn for excellent vantage points of the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Enjoy views of the Pennine Alps, particularly the summits of Weissmies, Dom, Matterhorn and Weisshorn before descending via cable car to Breiten
This afternoon visit the Stockalper Palace in Brig, one of the most important baroque palaces in Switzerland
Enjoy time for shopping in lively Bahnhofstrasse before returning Crans-Montana
Day 6:
Follow the Rhone River to Tasch, and board a mountain train to climb the last few miles to Zermatt, a picturesque village of rustic chalets nestled beneath the famous Matterhorn
Walk with your Tour Director through this car-free town, learn about mountain climbers who have attempted the Matterhorn, and visit the Matterhorn Museum
Dinner tonight at a local restaurant in Crans-Montana
Day 7:
Take a journey from the grape to the table as we visit the village of Aigle
The imposing Aigle Castle surrounded by well manicured vineyards dates back to the 12th century
Visit the Wine Museum which preserves the heritage of the wine growers and the cultural traditions of wine
Taste regional culinary delights while dining at the Pinte Du Paradis for lunch
Continue to Veytaux for a guided tour of Chillon Castle followed by a tasting of Clos de Chillon and Vevey-Montreux Appellation
Arrive by late afternoon in the picturesque town of Lausanne surrounded by vineyard-covered slopes with wonderful views of Lake Geneva
