Glass Bottom Boat Ride of the Lost Sea
Experience a 1 hour guided Glass Bottom Boat ride on America's largest underground lake. While touring the cavern and underground lake the guides will tell of the cavern's exciting and colorful history. They will also explain the fascinating geological development of the immense cavern rooms and rare formations.

The Lost Sea offers the relaxed atmosphere East Tennessee is famous for, with shaded walkways leading to authentic log cabins from another century. Within these cabins are the General Store, Cafe, Ice Cream Parlor, Trading Post and Glassblower.


Lookout Mountain Incline Railway
The thrill of riding "America's Most Amazing Mile" has delighted guests for more than a century. As the Incline climbs historic Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga's surrounding mountains and valleys come alive as the trolley-style railcars carry you cloud high.
The breathtaking 72.7% grade of the track near the top gives the Incline the unique distinction of being the steepest passenger railway in the world.



Ruby Falls
Discover a world of wonder at Ruby Falls, America's highest and most visited underground waterfall. A short elevator ride takes you into a cavern filled with fantastic formations. The paved level walkway equals four city blocks and leads to a sparkling 145-foot waterfall. Friendly guides make the tour memorable and fun.

The paved pathway has groups of 4-5 steps in some places & is less than a mile round trip. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
The cave is 60 degrees year round. Some of our guests prefer to wear a light jacket or sweater.


Rock City
Located atop Lookout Mountain, Rock City is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations, gardens with over 400 native plant species, and breathtaking "See 7 States" panoramic views. Take an unforgettable journey along the Enchanted Trail where each step reveals natural beauty and wonder along the woodland path.

The walk through Rock City's Enchanted Trail is 3/4 of mile on flat rocks with numerous steps going up and down to view the scenic sites and gardens.


Station House Restaurant
Experience an evening of entertainment and fun as you dine from a delicious selection of Chicken Forestiere or Tilapia. The area which once housed the rail station's baggage room is now home to this unique restaurant.



Model Railroad Museum
Built by the members of the Chattanooga Area Model Railroad Club, this is a working display that consists of Chattanooga's Terminal and Union Stations. It is one of the world's largest working "HO" gauge model railroads. Enter a miniature world portraying, in FACT and FANCY, Chattanooga and the Cumberland Mountain Country. Over 33,000 man-hours have been spent to make the layout what it is today, with a value of over $500,000.00. It is 174' long and 33' at is widest point, with 320 structures, over 3000 feet of track, 150 switches, 120 locomotives of all types, 1000 freight cars, 80 passenger cars, 3 major yards, 2 small yards, and 4 passenger stations... this model ranks as one of, if not the largest, model railroad exhibit in the world open to the public.



Museum of the Cherokee Indian
Using high-tech wizardry along with an extensive artifact collection, this museum tells the story of the Cherokee and their ancestors from twelve thousand years ago through the present. Learn who the Cherokee are and why they are still here.



Folk Art Center
The Folk Art Center stands as a showplace of the finest in traditional & contemporary crafts in the Southern Appalachians. The center features craft exhibitions, demonstrations & retail sales.
The Allanstand Craft Shop is a 100 year old retail establishment of fine crafts and is housed in this facility.

Biltmore Estate
This regal French Chateau, tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville is a National Historic Landmark.

Designed by renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt, Biltmore House has 250 rooms, 4 acres of interior floor space & is filled with the immense collection of art & furnishings of its original owner, George Vanderbilt, grandson of shipping magnate Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt. The beauty of this grand home extends out of doors to its gardens & managed woodland. In all, Biltmore Estate encompasses 8,000 acres of land.
