Enjoy a fully narrated historic tour of Nantucket offering a fascinating riding tour of America's most scenic little island. In just over an hour, become acquainted with the "Little Grey Lady," famous as the world's foremost whaling port in the 18th century. The tour covers close to 65% of the island including: The Old Mill, "Sconset" Village with it's rose-covered cottages, Low Beach, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Cranberry bogs & Nantucket moors.

Sand Dunes Sightseeing Tour
Enjoy a 1-hour guided Dune Tour through Provincetown's historic sand dunes and Cape Cod National Seashore Park.

Fun and safe for all, you'll board an enclosed, air-conditioned Chevrolet Suburban for a comfortable ride over the mountains of sand. Each vehicle safely holds 7-9 passengers.

Cape Cod National Seashore Highland Lighthouse
In a 1961 bill signed by President John F. Kennedy, the 27,700-acre Cape Cod National Historic Seashore was established to preserve virtually the entire eastern shoreline in its natural state for all time. All of the beaches here, while cold, are otherwise superior--wide, long, sandy, dune-backed, with great views. They are also contiguous: from Eastham to Provincetown, you can walk virtually without ever leaving sand.

The Salt Pond Visitor Center has displays of early Cape Cod artifacts (including antique scrimshaw), a bookstore, and an air-conditioned auditorium for film presentations.
At the Marconi Station, view the site of the first transatlantic wireless station erected on the U.S. mainland. The station operated for 15 years. An outdoor shelter contains a model of the original station, of which only fragments remain as a result of cliff erosion.

Eastham Windmill is a smock mill built in the early 1680's. It moved to this site in 1808 and is now the centerpiece of a park. It is the only Cape windmill still on a site on which it was in commercial use.




JFK Memorial
The JFK Memorial (stone monument) overlooks Lewis Bay where the Kennedys loved to sail and fish. The proceeds from the reflecting pool are donated to the Town of Barnstable's scholarship fund. This is an outside activity, only taking a few moments.
