Mission San Xavier del Bac
Mission San Xavier del Bac is situated in the Santa Cruz Valley nine miles south of Tucson, Arizona. Named for a pioneering Christian missionary and co-founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit Order), the Mission is also known as the "place where the water appears" as the Santa Cruz River (which runs underground) surfaces nearby.

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is one of the most visited attractions in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1952, it combines the attractions of a zoo, museum, and botanical garden. Its focus is the plants and animals that live in the Sonoran Desert, and it was a pioneer in the creation of naturalistic enclosures for its animals.

Old Tucson Studios
Be prepared for a feeling of deja vu when you visit Old Tucson Studios, especially if you're a fan of western films and television programs. Old Tucson Studios was (and still is) a working film set. In 1939, Columbia Pictures built a replica of 1860s Tucson here for the film Arizona. More realistic than previous works done inside, it set new standard for western films, and started a move toward filming on location.



White Sands National Monument
White Sands National Monument is a United States National Monument that is located in the southeastern region of the state of New Mexico. The monument contains the world's largest gypsum sand dune field -- 275 square miles of fine white sand, formed by the prevailing winds into large ridge-like dunes.



Georgia O'Keefe Museum
The Georgia O�Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico, opened to the public in July 1997, eleven years after the death of the artist from whom it takes its name. It is the only museum in the world dedicated to an internationally-known woman artist. The Museum�s collection of over 3,000 works comprises 1,149 O�Keeffe paintings, drawings, and sculptures that date from 1901 to 1984, the year failing eyesight forced O�Keeffe into retirement.


Bandelier National Monument
Bandelier National Monument is a 32,737 acre National Monument preserving ancient ruins near Los Alamos, New Mexico. It is named after anthropologist Adolph Bandelier due to his work in researching the history of the area. Bandelier National Monument is an unexpected delight, with some of the most unusual and interesting ancient ruins in the Southwest, steep narrow canyons with plentiful wildlife, mountains rising to 10,000 feet, many acres of unspoiled backcountry and a colorful section of the Rio Grande river valley.

Rio Grande Gorge Bridge
The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is a cantilever truss bridge across the Rio Grande Gorge. At 650 feet above the Rio Grande, it is the fifth highest bridge in the United States. The span is 1,280 feet: two 300-foot-long approach spans with a 600-foot-long main center span.


Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park is a U.S. National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Montezuma County, Colorado, United States. The park occupies 81.4 square miles near the Four Corners and features numerous ruins of homes and villages built by the ancient Pueblo people known as the Anasazi. The Anasazi made this stone village their home in A.D. 1200s. It is best known for several spectacular cliff dwellings � structures built within caves and under outcroppings in cliffs � including Cliff Palace, which is thought to be the largest cliff dwelling in North America.

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding. The landscape overwhelms, not just by its beauty but also by its size. The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees and windblown sand, all comprising the magnificent colors of the valley. All of this harmoniously combines to make Monument Valley a truly wondrous experience.
