Lyndhurst
Overlooking the Hudson River, Lyndhurst is one of America's finest Gothic Revival mansions. It was built for William Paulding, Mayor of New York City in the 1830's.

The mansion features a fine collection of Victorian decorative arts and picturesque landscaped grounds.


Locust Grove
Locust Grove, the Samuel Morse Historic Site, is intimately connected with the life of Samuel Morse, the 19th century painter & inventor of the telegraph & Morse code. This Tuscan villa contains decorative arts & antiques from the18th & 19th century.

Your tour will begin with an orientation video at the Visitor Center, followed by a short walk to the house (200 yards) which overlooks the Hudson River. Expert guides will conduct visitors throughout the three floors of the house which are furnished with extensive collections of American and European furniture and paintings exhibited in period-room settings. The tour will conclude with a return to the Visitor Center and a self-guided tour of the exhibits which include telegraph equipment and paintings by Samuel Morse. The unique Museum Shop, opulent gardens and lush grounds are also available for visitors in season.

FDR Home & Library
Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site (Home & Library)
Historic Hyde Park, New York offers visitors an unforgettable journey into American history. A guided tour of the Home of the Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site reveals the life and times of the 32nd President (1933 to 1945), who led the country through the Great Depression and World War II.

Franklin D. Roosevelt Museum and Library The nation's first presidential library and the only one ever used by a president in office. The Museum includes exhibits on Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the Great Depression and WWII including Interactive and Video exhibits. Also featured are FDR's White House Desk, his Famous Ford, the President's Study, the Secret White House Map Room, the Eleanor Roosevelt Gallery, and more. The FDR Library and Museum is administered by the National Archives and Records Administration There are two Museum floors hosting four galleries.
