Pittsburgh's story comes alive on this specially designed, narrated tour of one of America's most livable cities. Fun stories about prominent Pittsburghers, both past and present, punctuate the narration on historical landmarks, corporate headquarters, fascinating architecture, and important events.

Our tour winds through the Golden Triangle focusing on significant developments and statuesque buildings within this compact and defined area.


Nationality Classrooms
Tour the world through architecture and decor as 26 classrooms reflect the Old World heritages of Pittsburghers. The Nationality Rooms are expressions of timeless human values. In these rooms themes are rendered in wood and glass, iron and stone, fabric, color, and words.

All rooms may not be viewed during the school year, because classes are held in them.

Dinner Buffet features sliced ham in holiday sauce, stuffed chicken breast, roast beef, salad bar with selection of soups, potatoes, green beans, rolls & butter, dessert, coffee and herbal iced teas

Winter Fantasy
"Winter Fantasy" located at Oglebay's Good Zoo will delight all ages with Christmas lights galore. Special features include an exciting animated music & light show that fills the entire zoo patio. The popular Model Train Exhibits also located at the zoo, with a special snow-covered section only featured during the holiday season. The Benedum Planetarium will feature a Laser Light Show with colorful laser images choreographed to your favorite holiday music.

Please note there is no reserved seating for the Planetarium. Group must stand in line.

Winter Festival of Lights
At Oglebay "Winter Festival of Lights" you will visit the nation's largest light show covering more than 300 acres over a six mile drive throughout the resort. Each year, several new displays are added to more than 50 favorites including the animated Snowflake Tunnel, with over 2,000 lights it stands on the highest hilltop at Oglebay. Also see the Poinsettia Wreath & Candles, the festival's tallest display, Candy Cane Wreath and The Twelve Days of Christmas.

Lunch Buffet at Oakhurst Tea Room
Located in Somerset, PA on scenic Route 31 in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, the Oakhurst became known as the "Tea Room" for reasons other that tea. Wink. Wink. Prior to the repeal of the prohibition in December, 1933, The Oakhurst became a popular gathering place for gentlemen customers having "tea" with their friends. The "tea" was actually illegal liquor being served in tea pots, hence the name Oakhurst Tea Room.
