Ocean City, Maryland's Boardwalk dates back to 1902 and is recognized as one of the best Boardwalk's in the country. Featuring shops, eateries, amusements, night life and lodging, Ocean City's Boardwalk blends history and culture with modern convenience and fun.

Enjoy a stroll down the boardwalk and step back in time with a presentation on the history of Ocean City's most famous attraction.


Bethany Beach Boardwalk
Bethany Beach's boardwalk has been a centerpiece of the town since 1903. Due to its seaside location, it has been rebuilt numerous times- about every 10 to 20 years since.

Enjoy an escorted tour of Bethany Beach's Boardwalk with historical insight to it's beginnings in one of Delaware's smaller beach resorts.



Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk
Rehoboth is a welcoming, friendly community. One mile square, the seaside town has all of the modern amenities. It is a place where people can stroll down tree-lined streets, neighbors know one another, children play outside and a diverse community comes together to preserve the city's charm and unique character.

The Boardwalk, now a mile long, was originally built in 1873 on high ground between the beach and Surf Avenue, which ran the full length of the ocean front. Learn how this boardwalk got its start on a guided tour.


O.C. Life Saving Station Museum
Dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of the United States Life-Saving Service on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, the museum also houses the unique and colorful history and heritage of Ocean City, Maryland.

Delightful exhibits showing the history of the Life-Saving Service, Aquariums, dollhouse replicas of hotels which once lined the boardwalk, shipwreck artifacts, a mermaid collection, bathing suits from the past and the Sand-From-Around-the-World exhibit are on display. This beautifully restored building, once scheduled for demolition, now stands as Ocean City, Maryland's showplace.
