Every Starr trip includes deluxe motorcoach transportation and overnight accommodations.
55 minute ferry from Point Judith, RI (also known as Galilee, Narragansett, RI) to Block Island. Return ferry is also 55 minutes.
There are concession stands with full liquor bars on board all vessels. Selections include bagels, chips, cookies, candy, hot dogs, soft drinks, juices, bottled water and more.
All of the vessels will accommodate wheelchairs on the bottom decks. The M/V Block Island has a wheel chair lift to the inside cabin.
Block Island Sightseeing Tour
Your guided tour of Block Island will cover the Island's history, lighthouses and folklore.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 3 story hotel has been renovated so as to offer the latest conveniences while retaining its nostalgic grace. The Hotel is located in Block Island's historic village across from a sandy beach. Since it is a historic Victorian Inn, the room configurations are different from a standard hotel and room types will vary. The rooms are decorated in such a way as to create a relaxing and elegant Victorian ambience, while providing such amenities as flat screen televisions, hair dryer, and a private bath. The hotel has a full-service restaurant, the Tap and Grille.
There are 15 steps leading up and into hotel lobby. It is imperative that requests for 1st floor are made at time of booking. There are 18 steps to the first floor. Passengers with walking disabilities may have difficulty.
There is no elevator or air conditioning at this hotel. Hotel does provide a ceiling fan in each room. The hotel is completely non-smoking.
-Starr Motorcoach does not come over on on the Ferry. Passengers are advised to bring all necessary belongings with them, as they will not have access to the coach while on Block Island.
