Hudson River Boat Cruise
Cruise through the majestic Hudson Highlands aboard the luxurious Pride of the Hudson!

Your adventure will begin at Pride's Landing in Newburgh, NY and your captain will narrate the sights along the way, including:
Washington's Headquarters - established as a historic site in 1850 because George Washington spent so much time here during the Revolutionary War.
Mount Beacon - the highest point between the Catskills and the Atlantic Ocean. Beacon fires were built here during the Revolutionary War.
Bannerman Island � this historic Island is known for its warehouse, built to resemble a Scottish Castle.
Breakneck Mountain - legend has it that the mountain was named for a farmer's bull that fell down the cliff and broke its neck. A granite quarry at its base supplied material for the towers of the Brooklyn Bridge, the base of the Statue of Liberty, and sidewalks in New York City.
Cold Spring - a quaint town known for its restaurants and antiques.
World's End - the deepest point of the Hudson River. Explorers believed that the river stopped there, but eventually realized that after the sharp "S" bend it continued.
Constitution Island - during the Revolutionary War, chains were run from here to West Point.
West Point - the United States Military Academy at West Point boasts beautiful & historic buildings including Eisenhower Hall, their chapel, field house, & more.

Olana State Historic Site
Traverse the historic formal approach to Olana's Main House and learn about the ideas that influenced Frederic Church and architect Calvert Vaux in siting and designing this Middle Eastern-inspired Hudson Valley villa. Explore the intact, richly decorated historic interiors of the main floor, including the stunning central Court Hall, Isabel Church's Sitting Room designed around her husband's masterpiece "El Khasne, Petra" (1874), and Frederic Church's richly appointed painting studio; available as guided tour or explore at your own pace.

Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site
Home to the 32nd and longest-serving president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt returned to Hyde Park often, drawing on this place to renew his spirit during times of personal and political crisis. Explore the Roosevelt saga in the homes of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the exhibits at the nation's first Presidential Library & Museum, Guided Tour of Speingwood (boyhood home of FDR) Self guided visit of Springwood Grounds and over a thousand acres of gardens and trails.

Culinary Institute of America
You will love the dining experience and casual elegant atmosphere of the Hudson Valley's foodie flagship - the Culinary Institute of America.
Dining at one of the wonderful featured restaurants: Bocuse Restaurant, Ristorante Caterina de'Medici, or a dish from the local regional and seasonal product at American Bounty Restaurant. You will surely be satisfied!

Walkway Over the Hudson
Walkway Over The Hudson is a linear walkway spanning the Hudson River. At 212 feet tall and 1.28 miles long, it is the longest, elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. The park is managed and maintained by NYS Parks - Taconic Region.
Rest rooms are available at either end of the bridge

West Point Visitors Center
The Visitor Center is home to 50 exhibits and movies, The West Point Experience Exhibit, which explain the history of West Point and cadet life.

West Point Academy
West Point Sightseeing Tour - 1 and a half hour riding and walking tour of West Point Academy to include Cadet Chapel & Trophy Point. See the central area where cadets live and attend classes. Enjoy the history and beauty of this section of the post. Visit Parade Grounds where today's cadets drill and parade. This is where George Washington drilled and organized the Continental Army. Tour Trophy Point, Battle Monument and relics of wars dating back to the Revolution. Get ready for a million dollar view of the scenic Hudson Valley.

Cadet Chapel: This Gothic Cathedral with high vaulted ceiling, towers, stained glass and buttresses has been called the only true intuitive example of Christian Art.

Lunch at the Thayer Hotel
MacArthur's Riverview Restaurant is one of the top restaurants in the Hudson Valley.

This renowned restaurant on the Hudson River, with its Gothic windows and old world charm, sets the stage for a truly unique dining experience.

Brotherhood Winery
Experience the historic atmosphere of Brotherhood Winery by taking a leisurely stroll through our vast network of underground cellars. Excavated by hand in the late 19th Century, the dimly lit cellars house over two hundred oak barrels and feature a crested vault containing some of the oldest vintages in America.

Our team of knowledgeable guides will reveal the secrets of these mysterious vaults and keep you amused with tall tales of folly and tragedy. The tour will get you well acquainted with the complete wine making process and you will feel like an expert in oenology.

Test your wine tasting skills in the modern showroom and enjoy the many flavors and textures Brotherhood has to offer the budding and discerning wine lover.
