Kitchen Kettle Village
Hungry for Pennsylvania Dutch goodness? Make your way to Kitchen Kettle Village, an outdoor village of more than 40 shops, including the famous Jam & Relish Kitchen, where you can sample a variety of some 100 homemade Pennsylvania Dutch comestibles before you buy. There are also shops selling leather goods, pottery, specialty yarns, candles, furniture, oils and, of course, Amish quilts - a souvenir staple. You'll also find stores serving up sweets (you must try the shoofly pie and whoopie pies - two iconic Lancaster County treats), hand-twisted soft pretzels, kettle corn, smoked meats, and more. Watch basket weaving, fudge making, homemade ice cream making, paintings, woodcarving, and leather works.

Two restaurants are also tucked in the village:
Kling House Restaurant and Kettle Cafe with convenient cafeteria-style dining.

Patriotic Magic Lantern Show
Before there were movies, DVDs, CDs, and videos... there were Magic Lanterns. Throughout the 19th century to the early 20th century, Magic Lanterns were the most popular form of entertainment in the country.

For the first time in over 130 years anywhere in the U.S., there is now a permanent theater offering Magic Lantern shows to the public!

"This Is My Country!" Travel back to the early days of America and joyfully share our Nation's history in story, laughter, and song.

From the early settlers at Plymouth Rock and the fight for independence, through the tragic struggle of North and South in the Civil War, explore our history as it can only be experienced through the spectacular imagery and special effects of a Magic Lantern Show first seen over a century ago.

And no one is more spirited and patriotic than your Patriotic Showman guiding you through the voices and times of America's past, spanning over 200 years of our country's story.

Amish Country Homestead
The Amish Country Homestead is a reflection of our commitment to accurately and sensitively portray the Old Order Amish as they live and work in today's world. The Homestead is the home of the fictional Amish family of Daniel and Lizzie Fisher.

Inside the Homestead, we learn of Amish traditions and practices, plain clothing and life without electricity. The Fisher One-Room School is attached to the house and filled with authentic desks and furnishings from an actual Amish school. You'll learn the tradition of teaching eight grades in one room.

From the pantry stocked full of freshly canned vegetables to the family's plain clothes... from propane-powered lamps to air-compressor driven appliances... the Fisher Family Homestead truly provides insights into the complex riddles of a culture so very different from our own.

Saturday Night Fever at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre
This full service dinner theatre attraction in the heart of Lancaster County presents full length Broadway musicals with professional performers and a live orchestra. The buffet offers a full salad bar, 8 hot entrees and a lavish dessert selection.

Show: Saturday Night Fever

Tony Manero is a clerk in a paint store in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, but he lives for Saturday evening and his visit to the local disco, 2001 Odyssey. There he meets dancer, Stephanie Mangano, and the two decide to take part in a dance competition.

Almost all of the songs from the original movie soundtrack are included in the stage musical. Hear hits like Stayin' Alive, Boogie Shoes, Disco Inferno, You Should Be Dancing, and more!

Running Time: 2 hours and 25 minutes

Amish Farmlands Tour
Venture out onto the "Roads Less Traveled" through the heart of the Amish Farmlands. Enjoy picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads where time seems to stand still. See the pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, windwheels, Amish "phone booths" and farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows.

Stop at an Amish Quilt & Craft Shop, right on an Amish farm! Have an opportunity to meet the Amish in person as you browse through a colorful array of exquisite handmade quilts and unique country crafts.

Farm Tour at Kreider Farms
See how old-fashioned dedication to quality, harnessed with state-of-the-art technology, produces an unbeatable team.

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a real, working dairy farm on the Kreider Farms tour.

This tour features a high-tech view of farming, including a drive down the middle of the maternity barn, otherwise known as the "Cow Palace." It's not uncommon to see newborn calves either just born or being born... Have your camera ready!

Take a short walk to the milking carousel where you'll get a bird's eye view of the milking merry-go-round where 1,700 cows are milked 3 times a day!

Visit the Silo Observation Tower. Climb to the top for an excellent view of Kreider Farms and the surrounding Lancaster County farmland.

NOTE: There is only 1 single public restroom facility at the Welcome Center. Please use the facilities at the Enck's during lunch.
