Luzerne County's showpiece, the County Courthouse, is a breathtaking building. This magnificent structure, built at the turn of the century, contains numerous paintings and architectural designs that enhance the beauty of the structure. From the pillars at the entrance to the third floor courtrooms, each section of the courthouse is unique.

Frederick Stegmaier Mansion
As owners and operators of the Stegmaier Brewery in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the Stegmaier name was well known both in America and abroad.

This stunningly restored Victorian Mansion is every part accessible and "touchable" by visitors. Sit in the Ladies Parlor and tour the B&B rooms that are available for accommodations when visiting the area. The Mansion was recently featured in Victorian Homes Magazine as one of the most beautiful Victorian mansions in Pennsylvania. The story of how this mansion was restored from a dilapidated boarding house to its current glory by owner Joe Matteo is awe-inspiring.
