Only a short drive from downtown Burlington, the Homestead offers hands-on history, spectacular scenery, and riverside picnic areas and walks. The Homestead provides a genuine slice of 18th century life, and an intimate look at Vermont's most colorful - and controversial founder.

The farmhouse, historic gardens, descriptive exhibits and multi-media show reveal the man, the myths and a true measure of his place in Vermont history.

We invite you find out about exclusive shopping, dining and events in downtown Burlington.

Lake Champlain Boat Cruise aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen
