Ferry service to Martha's Vineyard
Round Trip Ferry service from Woods Hole to Martha's Vineyard using the Steamship Authority Ferry service of Cape Cod.

Ferry ride is approximately 45 minutes.

Martha's Vineyard Sightseeing Tour
Experience a guided sightseeing tour of Martha's Vineyard with its rural atmosphere, unhurried way of life and heritage of more than three centuries of seafaring. Tour through quaint towns with streets lined with the sea captains' houses built when the only great industry was whaling by harpoon. Visit Oak Bluffs, with its century old gingerbread cottages and enjoy a view of Chappaquiddick. In Edgartown, explore the narrow winding streets with many charming boutiques and restaurants.

Cape Cod National Seashore
In a 1961 bill signed by President John F. Kennedy, the 27,700-acre Cape Cod National Historic Seashore was established to preserve virtually the entire eastern shoreline in its natural state for all time. All of the beaches here, while cold, are otherwise superior - wide, long, sandy and dune-backed, with great views.

The Salt Pond Visitor Center has displays of early Cape Cod artifacts (including antique scrimshaw) and a bookstore.

Eastham Windmill is a smock mill built in the early 1680's. It moved to this site in 1808 and is now the centerpiece of a park. It is the only Cape windmill still on a site on which it was in commercial use.

Dune Riding Tour
Enjoy a one hour narrated tour through the historic sand dunes and Provincetown's Cape Cod National Seashore Park.

Fun and safe for all! Ride in an enclosed and air conditioned Suburban for a comfortable ride over the mountains of sand. Each vehicle holds 6-8 passengers.

Roll through the Peaked Hill Bars Historic District Sand Dunes, catching sight of Pilgrim Lake nestled among the dunes and the famed artists' dune shacks.

All the while, a knowledgeable tour guide will share the history and ecology of these beautiful and unique dunes that have inspired so many fine artists and writers.

JFK Memorial
The John F. Kennedy Memorial is located on Ocean Street near Veteran's Park Beach. The JFK Memorial (stone monument) overlooks Lewis Bay where the Kennedys loved to sail and fish.

This is an outside activity, only taking a few moments.

Olde Mistick Village
Olde Mistick Village offers a shopping experience that is totally unique. Wander along brick pathways amid over forty stores which sell exceptional items from the world over and choose your dining pleasure from a variety of restaurants... all in the tranquil, beautiful, and friendly environment of Olde Mistick Village.
