Rising Sun Tavern
Built by Charles Washington in 1760 as his home, this building was later operated as a tavern, the only "proper" tavern in the bustling port city of Fredericksburg. The "tavern wenches" at the Rising Sun today entertain visitors as though they have just stepped off a stagecoach in a lively interpretation of 18th century tavern life.
Fredericksburg Trolley Tour
The Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg include views of historic homes, attractions and the famous Sunken Road, site of the Battle of Fredericksburg. 35 monuments, markers, and attractions are included in the tour along with the Confederate & Federal Cemeteries, and America's oldest Masonic Cemetery. You will also see the city's oldest churches, the court house, city hall, and the river front.
Trolley is not wheelchair accessible and has three steps.

Kenmore Mansion
Kenmore is the elegant plantation home of George Washington's sister, Betty, and her patriot husband Colonel Fielding Lewis. The mansion is known for its ornate plaster work ceilings and the Aesop's fable theme over the dining room mantel is said to have been suggested by Washington himself.
Not handicap accessible.

An exhibit for the holiday season of highly detailed, replica dollhouses - including the Kenmore mansion - and miniatures in the Crowninshield Museum Building. Enjoy exploring the treasures in this festive display!
Gingerbread House Exhibit at Ferry Farm
Enjoy the 31st Annual Gingerbread House Exhibit, a long-standing holiday tradition! Adults and children alike will enjoy the sights and smells of the festive creations displayed at George Washington's boyhood home, Ferry Farm.
