A costumed guide will tour you through this National Historic Landmark, Fort, Store, and House on the Kennebec River. The reconstructed site includes the original 1754 Garrison building, 1921 reconstructed Blockhouses, 1988 reconstruction Watch Boxes, and 1916 reconstruction Palisade. All are based on archaeological evidence, written documents, and existing structures of the same era.
