This grand structure features white marble, gold leaf, and stained glass. The Courthouse is also home to dozens of historical portraits including a portrait of George Catlin, the celebrated Native American painter.

Frederick Stegmaier Mansion
As owners and operators of the Stegmaier Brewery in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the Stegmaier name was well known both in America and abroad.

This stunningly restored Victorian Mansion is every part accessible and "touchable" by visitors. Sit in the Ladies Parlor, enjoy a beer tasting in the Library and tour the B&B rooms that are available for accommodations when visiting the area. The Mansion was recently featured in Victorian Homes Magazine as one of the most beautiful Victorian mansions in Pennsylvania. The story of how this mansion was restored from a dilapidated boarding house to its current glory by owner Joe Matteo is awe-inspiring.

Enjoy lunch and entertainment featuring The Barbershopper's Quartet.

NOTE: The mansion is not handicapped accessible. There are 6 steps to get into the mansion. There are several steps from the first floor to the second floor bedroom tour. Those who cannot maneuver steps will remain on the first floor (dining room, gentleman's parlor, center hall, library, ladies parlor & conservatory).
